Everyone needs a second (or third or fourth and sometimes fifth) chance. Ms. Simpson will show off her much thinner assets on the next cover of Vanity Fair. This spread, shot by Mario Testino, is really soft and pretty. There is no doubt that Jessica has always been gorgeous. Yes, she has pulled out some horrible style before, inspired by her chicken chompin’ southern roots but overall, I think she looks pretty good.

In the magazine, she chats about her Cowboy Quarterback, the tabloids exposing her fat photos and the influence of her manager/crazy father.
Can Jessica really make a comeback or will she always remain the mediocre pop star? I have mixed feelings.

Canadian Design Twins Dean and Dan Caten are getting SIRIUS. The brothers behind Dsquared2 will launch a “Style in Stereo” radio program on May 5th from 9 PM to 10 PM ET. The two will spin the music from past to present, songs from their fashion shows and talk to celebs about style. Sounds like a good recipe… No?

Gap’s giving it’s denim an upgrade. A new, premium collection “1969” will debut this Fall (‘09). It plans on releasing a complete roster of washes for both dudes and chicks, from skinny, straight, boot cuts for both. Also, the jumbo clothes chain plans on having a wide range of colours, rinses and shades.

The company’s plan is to come up with a pair around $60 and for them to rival other premium brands that cost upwards of 5-Hundo.
